Today the Munich School looked into energy through various STEM style projects. Students learned about various careers in energy. They learned about gas and played a drilling game. Munich did awesome in the spelling bee today. The bee was six rounds long and half of the participants were from Munich in rounds three, four, and five. A big congratulations to Dawson Biby our Region 2 Mathcounts qualifier. Our top Munich student who placed 1st individually at our local Mathcounts placed 5th overall in the Region. Dawson has qualified to represent Munich at the state level. State Mathcounts will be held on March 6, 2017 in Bismarck. Wish our competitor luck!
The Munich Public School had a great run at Math Counts today. Our 8th grade team placed 1st and we had not one but two students place individually.
